Grilled Halloumi Tacos
1 package of halloumi
2 tbs olive oil
1 squeeze of lemon
1 package of 4” tortillas
Cilantro Chili flakes
- Slice a package of halloumi cheese into strips and marinate in some olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt and some cracked black pepper.
- On a hot grill, cook the strips of cheese until grill marks form, about two minutes on each side. The cheese won’t melt, but it’ll get soft, with crispy grill marks.
- Heat a package of mini 4” tortillas on the same grill, until soft and lightly toasted.
- Top each mini tortilla with a few strips of the grilled cheese, another splash of olive oil and lemon juice, some chopped black olives, cilantro and chili flakes if you like it hot!
