Chocolate Quesadilla Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 Vermont Tortilla 6-inch organic corn tortillas
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: powdered sugar, whipped cream, or berries for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prep Your Tortillas:
Warm a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Assemble the Quesadilla:
Place one tortilla on a flat surface. Evenly spread the dark chocolate chips or pieces across it, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges. Sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt over the chocolate. Cover with the second tortilla.
  3. Cook the Quesadilla:
Place the quesadilla in the heated skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula to ensure the chocolate melts and the tortillas crisp slightly.
  4. Flip Carefully:
Flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully melted and the tortillas are golden.
  5. Serve:
Remove from the skillet and let it cool slightly. Slice into quarters or eighths. Optionally dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream and berries.

Enjoy your quick and delicious chocolate treat!
